Laura Kohl started Wellness Wisdom in 1997, originally known as De-Stress Express, located at the same location, providing Chair Massage in Health Food Stores, Offices, Farmer’s Markets and Health Fairs. Today, Wellness Wisdom is a Holistic Spa and Wellness Center for Benicia massage.

Recently, we remodeled the entire interior of Wellness Wisdom, giving the space an upscale, premium resort feeling on a condensed scale. Ultimately, we’ve designed Wellness Wisdom with the comfort, convenience and well-being of our clients as of the utmost importance.

Meet Laura L. Kohl

Laura L. KohlLicensed Esthetician, Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Hypnotherapist,Certified Natural Health Professional Laura began her career as a massage therapist. Since then, she has attended numerous schools &training courses in several different holistic therapies. Laura is a state licensed esthetician, certified massage therapist, certified hypnotherapist and acertified natural health professional. She specializes in organic facials, many massagemodalities, nutritional counseling, hypnotherapy, sound therapy and medical Chi Gong. Using state-of-the-art equipment and the best products available, the results across all servicesare remarkable. She has helped hundreds of clients, some of whom have been with her for over15 years. Laura takes a one-on-one approach to each client, tailoring the session to each person’s uniqueneeds. Laura may recommend nutritional changes and lifestyle changes as part of her services tohelp the client improve their physical, emotional & spiritual well-being.Twenty-two years ago, she opened a wellness center in Benicia, California called WellnessWisdom. It remains the premiere spa in Benicia today serving clients from as far away as SanJose.
